2026 IVF Elite & Club World Sprint Championship

Downtown - Marina Bay, Singapore

2026 will see the IVF World Sprint Championships taking place in Asia for the first time!  The Va'a Association Singapore will host the 2026 International Va'a Federation World Sprint Championships, August 17-31 in Singapore. The V6 canoes are expected to be Kai Wa’a Hydra with the V1 canoe being Fai Va'a 4Si all canoes delivered by Ozone. 

Qualified USA ORCA Entries:

All U.S. competitors have attended the U.S. National Sprint Va'a Championship to qualify.  This includes all age divisions of Elite V1, Elite V6 and Club V6 participation.   The Nationals were hosted by the Pacific Northwest Outrigger Racing Canoe Association (PNWORCA) on Oct. 3-4-5, 2025 at Blue Lake Regional Park, Fairview, OR.  

All Divisions (men and women) will be contested at the IVF Club World Sprint Championships and USAORCA has at least one entry in each (16 to 80 years including Open)!  The Elite World Sprint events will occur on Race Day 1 & 2 of the Singapore event with USA's Elite Teams in Junior 19 and Open plus representation in all V1 ages and para va'a, as well. 

USA is entitled to 6 club crews in V6 events (3 in V12) and minimum 3 entries in V1.  A few additional lanes were earned by paddlers medaling at the 2024 Hilo World Sprints!
